Last Friday I went to Times Bookshop, Suria KLCC. I was looking for a simplified version of Microsoft Excel reference book. So I went straight to the computer section.
I found quite a collection of books on Excel. First, I looked for Idiot's Guide series, but after flipping through I thought it was too novice. So I looked among the For Dummies series. I found:
- Excel Sales Forecasting For Dummies
- Excel Data Analysis For Dummies
- Excel Formulas and Functions For Dummies (how come this one is not on their site?)
Hmmm... Advanced topics for dummies. I thought it is so ironic, and had a hard time choosing the correct book. So I bought the formulas and functions book as I think it's not too specific. Thank God I chose the correct book.
The question is, why does an advanced person still need a For Dummies book? Like me?
BTW, tonight I'll be playing volleyball, after not hitting the court for like two weeks already.
And another newsflash: I already have a bahasa rojak blog here. Maybe one day I'll neglect this blog and concentrate at the other one, since I think it's more user friendly and powerful.
